Or, why not visit one of the many distilleries in the area or try clay shooting or shopping in nearby Elgin where you will find the finest cashmere at Johnsons and then home to an excellent dinner and a fine malt by the open fire.

Culdearn House is a small, privately owned country house hotel in Grantown-on-Spey, on the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail, and close to Aviemore.
This beautiful Victorian house, built in 1860, was once the home of Lord Seafield's family and has retained many of its original period features.
